Melinda Lou Alford

Melinda Lou Alford, 62, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 23, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. Melinda was born on August 29, 1959, to Wallace and Judith (Marlin) Stillings in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She married Dennis Alford on March 20,1979. Melinda enjoyed reading, riding her side by side, and swimming.   She was retired from the United States Postal Service in Poplar Bluff. Melinda is survived by husband, Dennis Alford, sons, Justin Alford (Savanna), Ethan Alford (Stephane), Nathan Alford (Tristen), brothers, George Beck (Vickie), Mike Stillings (Annette). Melinda was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26th, 2022, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Sunday, June 26th, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home.  Burial will take place at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, MO
