Melvin L. Duhon, 69, of Corning, Arkansas, previously of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home July 8, 2013.
Mr. Duhon was born January 7, 1944 in Texas and lived in Corning, Ar. for the past 5 years. He worked as a mechanic. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing.
On June 4, 2012 he married Deborah Duhon, in Jasper, Texas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Melvin Duhon Jr. of Orange, Tx., Christopher Hunter and wife, Kelly of Doniphan, Mo., Charles Hunter and wife, Robin of Bidor, Tx.; a daughter, Kim Fairchild and husband, David of Orange, Tx.; sisters, Lucy Dale Sonier, Orange, Tx., Doris Mae Chance, Buna, Tx., Geneva Porter, Cleveland, Tx., Virginia Ruth Arnold, Texas; and many grandchildren. Special friend, Howard Robinson of Austin, Tx. also survives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Virginia Duhon; two sons, Michael Duhon and Beu Duhon; and one sister, Shirley Atkison.
A private graveside service was held July 12, 2013 at the Naylor Memorial Cemetery.
