Mildred Ann Dahlgren, age 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday October 10, 2013 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Dahlgren was born September 19, 1937 in Charleston, Ms., to the late Wilson and Jewel(Scott) McCullough. A housewife, she enjoyed cooking and canning, fishing and playing bingo. She was a member of First General Baptist Church.
On September 19, 1959 she married Edwin C. Dahlgren in Lockport, Ill. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Dave and wife, Rhonda of Demotte, Ind., and Rick and wife, Pam of Poplar Bluff; a daughter-in-law, Mary Dahlgren of Ohio; a sister, Totsy (Ira) Causey of Piggott, Ark.; one brother, AJ "Boots" McCullough of Ellsinore, Mo.; her grandchildren, Kaelin, Trevor, Kierra, Kyleigh, Cody, Miranda, William, Ethan, Lexi, AJ, Brody, Jonathon, Danika, Ashley, Alyissa as well as two great-grandchildren on the way.
Also preceding her death a son, Dan Dahlgren and siblings, Hazel, Maydean, John, and Wilson Jr. McCullough.
A memorial visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Monday October 14, 2013 followed by memorial service at 6 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Poplar Bluff, with Dr. Dick Murray officiating. Interment will be held in the Mo. State Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, Mo.
