Millard Ray Sr

Millard Ray Srader, 77, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Friday. May 31,2013 at the Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan, Mo.. He was born July 8, 1935 at Wink, Texas, to the late Freeman Srader and Opal Vaughn Srader. He was a life long resident of Ripley County. On May 26, 1956, he married Darlene Walker in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Randy Srader and wife Regina of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Ronnie Srader of Dixon, Mo., Donnie Srader of Doniphan, Mo.. and Terry Srader of Doniphan, Mo.; one sister, Pat (Rocky) Gralla of Azle, Texas; two half-sisters, Mary Beene of Azle, Texas and Patricia Shoemake of Eastland, Texas; His grandchildren, Shane Srader of Dixon, Missouri, Brandi Srader of Cincinnati, Ohio, Amanda Srader of Venice, Florida, Jeremy Srader of Doniphan and Lexi Srader of Doniphan, Mo.; Great -Grandchildren, Vincent Srader and Caden Abbott. He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Srader and two grandchildren, Butch and Shaun. He was the owner and operator of The Freezer in Doniphan and also worked as a meat cutter. He was a member of the Church of God of Doniphan, Missouri. He had been a member of the Doniphan Lions Club. He also served in the National Guard. Visitation will be from 11:00 am til 1:00 pm Tuesday June 4, 2013 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Mo.. The Funeral will be at 1:00 pm following the visitation. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Doniphan, with Rev. Larry Earl and Rev. Darrel Walker officiating.
