Nancie Lee Manes, 66, of Bernie, Mo. passed away Saturday February 12,2011. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Independence Missionary Baptist Church, CR 272, Neelyville, Mo.
Mrs. Manes was born September 23. 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a former resident of Oregan and of the Catholic faith. She retired as a cook from General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell. She loved working in her yard, playing bingo, crossword puzzles, being with her children and grand children.
On December 29, 1986 she married Herbert Manes in Bernie, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are children, Kelly St. Lawrence and husband Dan, Poplar Bluff, Phillip Foster Jr. and wife Debbie of Kentucky, Charles Foster and wife Lorraine, Seattle, Washington, Cathy Leininger and husband Jean, of Eager, Arizona, Jack Manes and wife Nora of Malden, and Kevin Manes of Malden, Mo.; grandchildren Joshua Foster, Tracy Manes, Roman Foster, Jessica Foster, Jamie Foster, Elizabeth Leininger, Christina Booth, Jason Leininger and numberous step-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Watters and Charlotte "Radosevich" Watters and one daughter Kimberly Hubbard.
