Narva Young

Narva Dean Young, 89, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on September 11, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Narva was born on September 12, 1934, to Ray and Helen Stephens in Bernie, Missouri.  She married Joe Young; he preceded her in death. Narva loved her family, cooking and going to the sale barn. Narva is survived by daughter, Demetra Brant (Benny) sons, Steve Short (Patricia) of Hillsboro and Nick Short, (Marilyn) of Fagus, granddaughter, Cassi Kendle (Kenny), granddaughter, Sara Herzog (fiancé Will Gottstein), Marla Blankenship, Julie Inserra, Melissa Short, Great grandchildren, McKinzie, Mavery and Mason Kendle. Narva was preceded in death by Husband, Joe Young, parents, two sons: Robin and Kent Young, and a brother, J.E. Stephens. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Ronnie Fowler officiating.  There will be a burial following, at Kern's Chapel Cemetery.
