Nina Belle Stewart

Nina Belle Stewart, 87 of Poplar Bluff departed this life on Thursday May 9, 2019 at Oak Dale Skilled Care Center. She was born in Parma Mo. on April 3, 1932 to the late Richard and Carrie (Norman) Gibson. She was married to Donald Stewart he preceded her in death.She was former owner of KOKS Christian Radio. She loved being at the radio station meeting and fellowship with all who would come to the station. She was very devoted to KOKS she was a true christian. Nina loved going out to eat with her son Ben and meeting people. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by one son Ben Stewart, one sister Dorothy Duba, four grandchildren Shawn and Justin Hardy, Andrew and Katie Stewart. Also surviving are her close friends Gerald and Lisa Woolverton . She was preceded in death by her parents,one son Steven Stewart, one daughter Debbie Reynolds, sisters Oma Fowler, Louise Owens, Delcie Waltrib , brothers Harold Hickerson, Marion Gibson, Gilbert Gibson, David Gibson.

Visitation will begin on Monday May 13, 2019 at 10 am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny King and Dr. Steve Proctor officiating. Internment will follow in the City Cemetery.
