Rev. Nina Marie Sue (Markham) Hampton

Rev. Nina Marie Sue Markham-Digges- Hampton, 80, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 11, 2021 at Westwood Hills Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Sue was born on July 6, 1941 in Poplar Bluff to the late George Robert Markham and Tommie (Stafford) Markham.   She married the late Melvin Digges.  Later she married the late Don Hampton. Sue was a minister and enjoyed being with her church family as well as her own family.  She touched countless lives in her ministry and was loved by so many.  Sue's faith went beyond any religious boundaries, so did her love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Sue is survived by granddaughter; Amber Digges, great granddaughter; Willow; brothers; Harry Markham and wife Jane, Bill Markham and wife Wilma, Pete Markham and wife Terethia, sister; JoEllen Markham Bailey and sister in law; Dollie Kirk-Markham, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, son; Danis Digges, siblings; James and Grayson Markham, Nellie Markham, Deanna Markham-Mitchell, Betty Markham-Gallamore and sister-in-law; Glinda Hicks-Markham. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15th, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home with  Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating. Burial will take place at Black Creek Cemetery.
