Nora Matilda (Covey) Hill

Nora Matilda (Covey) Hill, born in Leachville, AR November 21, 1920 to Rome Ben and Mary Matilda (Stephens) Covey.  She passed away February 2, 2020 at Westwood Hills Nursing Facility.

She married Eugene Brandon Hill on September 17, 1938 in Cardwell, AR.  She loved quilting, playing bingo and visiting with family and friends.

She leaves behind four children, Eugene (Sonny) B. Hill Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Jerry(Lynn) Hill (Pam) of LaSalle, CO, Sharon Pavelka (George) of Lakewood, CO and Jimmy Dale Hill (Peggy) of Lakewood, CO; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law, Bonnie D. Hill, grandchildren; Amy LeeAnn Hill, Jimmy Dale Hill Jr. Bailey Marie Hill, sister Carrie McLaughlin, brothers; Raymon Covey, Rome Ben Covey Jr., Luther Covey and Norman Covey.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff from 11 am to 12 pm.   The funeral service will begin at 12 pm in the chapel.  Burial will take place at 3 pm February 8 in Leachville Arkansas city cemetery.
