Nora Evelyn Loftis

Nora Evelyn Loftis, 55, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Loftis was born January 25, 1961 in Poplar Bluff. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the State of Mo. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding her Harley and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of Shepards Chapel. On January 5, 1980 she married Donnie Eugene Loftis in Poplar Bluff. He survives. Other survivors include her children, April Dare Dover and husband, Tim, Steven Loftis and Donnie R. Loftis; her mother, Mildred(Stevens) Thompson; three sisters, Kathy Partenberry, Debbie Dugger and Janice Ervin and one brother, David Thompson; her grandchildren, Morgan Loftis, Ryan Dare, Tabitha Loftis, Lillian Loftis, Dylan Parish, and Abigail Loftis. Visitation will held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by funeral service at 3 p.m.
