Norma Barnhart

March 15, 1926 — September 28, 2010

Norma Lea Ramsey Barnhart went home to Heaven on Saturday 25, 2010 at the age of 84. Mrs. Barnhart resided in Fairdealing, Mo. for many years and previously lived in Poplar Bluff. Norma Barnhart ws born March 15, 1926, in St. Louis to Frank and Ella Ramsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Q.A. Barnhart to whom she was married for 47 years; her parents; her son, Rany Koenig; her stepson, Dan Barnhart; her sisters Alice Bruner, BettyWilloughby and Aileen Warden. Survivors include her sisters, Dorothy McCarthy and Elouise King of Poplar Bluff and Mary Elizabeth Walpole of Longview, Texas. Also surviving are her stepson's wife, Faye Barnhart; and five step-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barnhart was a Christian and loved teaching the Bible and Bible Phrophecy. She was a world traveler and her favorite trip was to the Holy Land and she spent many hours showing slides and teaching people about the Bible. She was a great cook and hostess and always made people feel at home in her kitchen. She loved turquoise and silver jewelry, anything western, reading and sewing. She loved her family and wasa treasure to us all. Visitation held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service to follow at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Gardens, Poplar Bluff, with Rod Bruner officiating.
