Norman Victery

Norman Eugene Vickery, 63, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Vickery was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Poplar Bluff and was a lifetime Butler County resident. He was a member of the Latter Day Saint. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and was a roofer by trade. He enjoyed drawing and trains. Surviving are his sister, Mary Victery, of Piggott, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Elbie Victery and Bessie Hoover Victery; three brothers, Evert Frankilin Vickery, Thomas Wiley Victery and Marvin Ray Victery. The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff in charge of arrangements.
