Orlena Jones

Orlena Almeta Jones, 77, of Neelyville, Mo., died at 12:12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 27, 1936, in Neelyville. She was a cook with the Neelyville school system. She enjoyed cooking, flowers, gardening, traveling with her sisters, Dora, Brenda "Box", Linda and Evelyn. She enjoyed Westerns. Mrs Jones was a faithful member of Naylor Pentecostal Church. On Oct. 18 1952, she married Harvey "Sonny" Emmons in Pocahontas, Ark. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2000. She married Jimmy Jones on May 13, 2011, in Corning, Ark. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Freddy Emmons and wife, Amy, of Neelyville; one daughter, Shelia Merchant and husband, Will, of Neelyville; two stepsons, Jimmy Jones and wife, Tonnie, of Naylor, Mo., and Chris Jones and wife, Carrie, of Neelyville; two stepdaughters, Teresa Hobbs and husband, Randy, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Rhonda Uhl and husband, Danny, of fairdealing, Mo,; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ed St. Cin and Bertha Crow, and two brothers, Charles St. Cin and Louis F. "Johnny" St. Cin. Visitation will be open to the family at 10 a.m. Friday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville with public visitation beginning at 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will be at Coon Island Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Judes in memory of Orlena Jones
