Ozell Johnson

Ozell Johnson, daughter of James Martin Pierce and Claudia Elizabeth Carr Pierce was born December 30, 1921 in Detroit, Alabama. She departed this life on April 4, 2011 at her residence in Neelyville, Missouri. On February 12, 1938 she was married to Harold Johnson. He departed this life on October 22, 1980. She is survived by One Son, C.P. Johnson of Neelyville, Missouri and one Daughter, Pat Boone of Naylor, Missouri. Nine granddaughters and 20 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.Two Sisters, Rose Lee Landers of Naylor, Missouri and Ola Dean Hublick of Harrison, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents as well as two sisters and four brothers. Ozell was member of the Coon Island General Baptist Church and the Eastern Star of Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed her nursing work, and yard work . Visitation will be held Wednesday April 6, 2011 in Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Missouri starting at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. also in the Chapel. Rev. Allen Leutert and Parker Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff following the Services.
