Pamela Irma Smith, born August 22, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2026, at the age of 71.
Pamela was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted family woman. She was currently residing in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and carried with her the warmth and strength that touched those around her throughout her life.
She worked in sewing and alterations for most of her life, using her skill and dedication to help many people over the years.
Pamela enjoyed flowers, birds, and spending time outdoors. She also loved her dogs, especially Toby, who held a special place in her heart. These simple joys reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for the beauty in everyday life.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Charley) Franklin Smith II of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and his wife, Rachel McCoy-Smith; her grandson, Luke McCoy-Smith; her step-children, Angie Jacob, Jamie Smith, Greg Smith, and Brian Smith, all of Indiana; and her sisters, Sheila Cantrell and Brenda Mullen.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles (Jim) Franklin Smith, and her parents, Lillian and Lilburn Bowman.
She will be remembered for her love of family, her quiet strength, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who loved her.
