Patricia Pipkins

Patricia C. "Johns" Pipkins, 64, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of the Fenton area, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at her residence. She was born Jan. 29, 1951 in Naylor, Mo. to the late Aaron Ray Johns and the late Geneva Darnell Johns. She retired from the Chrysler Corporation. She enjoyed gardening, hunting, traveling and photography. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Shuman of Poplar Bluff; one sister Mavella Underwood of St. Louis; seven brothers, Earl Johns of Arnold, Mo., Linzey Johns of Wabash, In., Bill Johns of Mo., Glenn Johns of Bonne Terre, Mo., Anthony Johns of Hillsboro, Mo., Leroy Johns of Sullivan, Mo., and Darrell Johns of Naylor; four grandchildren: Justin, Jeremy, Michael, Tyler and one great-grandson, Keiten. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Chipman and Artie Turner; and one brother, David "Coy" Johns. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at the chapel with the Rev. Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Gum Cemetery.
