Paul Grobe

Paul Grobe, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Grobe was born October 1, 1938 in Poplar Bluff. He was a member of Black River General Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy. He was co-owner of Tractor Supply and had owned a metal building construction company for many years. He also worked as a computer tech for IBM. On August 19, 1958 he married Mary (Romine) Grobe of Beeville, Tx. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Carl Grobe and wife, Melba, Linda Grobe, Karen Grobe, Roger Grobe and wife, Shannon and Patricia Giarrusso and husband, Mike; one brother, Don Grobe; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Grobe was preceded in death by his parents Paul E. Grobe and Elsie (Wilhelm) Grobe and two brothers Richard and Terry Grobe. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery with full military honors.
