Peggy Batten

Peggy Batten of Sikeston Missouri was born on May, 1935 and passed away in May, 2026.

She is survived by 2 sons, Alan (Laura) Dee and Jerry (Martha) Dee and one daughter, Angela (Matt) Shepherd, 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Debbie (Derek) Wilson, Mary Baker, and one brother, Dennis (Peggy) Hankins

Preceding her in death is one daughter, Diana Clarkson and one son Mark Dee along with 2 brothers Sonny Hankins and David Hankins and two sisters, Donna Jackson and Clara Brannum, her parents, Lois and Eugene Hankins.

Peggy had many accomplishments: Sewing, starting her own cleaning business with Helen Birdsong, ambassador for Weight Watchers, manager at Britt’s and American Legion, Event Coordinator for Ramada Inn. She was a dedicated and hard worker. Her sisters would say she was the most fun of the older three. She always dressed immaculately and hair done always.

Peggy's memorial service will be Sat. 06-06-2026, The visitation will be at 12:00pm and the service will be at 1:00pm

The services will take place at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine Street Poplar Bluff Missouri 63901.
