Phyllis Lavern James

Phyllis Lavern James, 49, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Ms. James was born June 26, 1963, in Neelyville, Mo. She formerly lived in Kansas City, Mo., and was a member of Conley Grove Church. She was employed by Genesis Home Care in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her companion, Carl James of Neelyville; her parents, Bishop James L. and Georgia Price; her children, Darrell Williams and Darryl Williams, both of Poplar Bluff; her Godson, Tamarcus Williams; two sisters, Angel Bryant and husband, Patrick and Heather Price, both of Poplar Bluff; her brothers, James L. Price Jr. of Columbia, Mo., Ronald Price of South Houston, Tx., Vincent Kincade of Springfield, Mo, Darryl Price of Belleview, Ill, Anthony Price and wife, Ann, of Poplar Bluff, Alphonso Price and wife, Earnestine, of Poplar Bluff, Glenn Price of Atlanta, Ga., Jeffery Price and wife, Nicole, of Poplar Bluff, and Richard Price of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, Jakara and Kobe Williams. She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Moses Young and her grandparents, George U. Kincade and Martha Kincade. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 followed by funeral services at noon at the Lively Stone Church, 522 W. Relief Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. with District Elder G. Jeffery Price officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff Cemetery.
