Phyllis Sutton

Phyllis Louise Sutton, 54, of Poplar Bluff passed away Thursday January 4, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 27,1963 to Jack Yates and Sharon (Arbuckle) Pipkins at Elgin, IL Phyllis worked as a waitress. She was of non-denominational faith. Phyllis is survived by her parents; three sisters, Linda Hobbs and Penny Jackson both of Poplar Bluff and Bev Sparks of Pontiac, IL ; two brothers, Monty Mescher and Jack Yates Jr. both of Metropolis, IL and a special friend Dave Arends. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Sutton; step father; Jessie Pipkins; grandparents, George and Helen Arbuckle and ex-husband, John Minks. There will be a memorial service at 2pm, Sat. January 13 at New Life Christian Church United; 2755 Barron Rd. Poplar Bluff with Rev. John Harwell officiating.
