Raymond Eastwood

Raymond Eastwood of Poplar Bluff passed away July 2, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 20 days. Mr. Eastwood was born November 12, 1929 at Poplar Bluff, Mo. to parents Dow and Stella (Sneed) Eastwood. Both preceded him in death. He was a life time resident of Poplar Bluff and a retired truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion Post 630 and the Eagles Lodge in Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and spending time with family. Mr. Eastwood is survived by his wife, Bessie (Langley) Eastwood; one son, John Eastwood and wife, Cathy of Poplar Bluff; one grandson, John Eastwood Jr. and wife, Sandy of Kansas City, Mo.; 2 nephews, Leonard Eastwood and wife, Edith of Poplar Bluff, and Robert Eastwood and wife, Ruth of Williamsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and 1 brother. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at the City Cemetery. Ron Fowler will officiate.
