Richard Lewin Berry, 60, of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away January 5, 2012 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born October 21, 1951 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Thomas Basil Berry and Mary Alice Ahrent Berry.
On August 18, 1972 at Dexter, Missouri he was married to Diane Edwards. She survives.
Also surviving; Two Children, April Butler and husband Landon of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Len Berry of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Also one sister Brenda Lou Chapman and husband Ron of Neelyville, Mo., and one brother, Ronnie Berry and wife Gena of Neelyville, Mo.. One grandson Field Butler of Jonesboro, Arkansas. several nieces and nephews also survive.
Richard was a farmer and had served on the Neelyville School Board as president and served on the Rice Council. He was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church at Corning, Arkansas where he served as Elder many years at the church.
Visitation for Mr. Berry will be Monday January 9, 2012 starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville with the services starting at 10:00a.m. Tuesday morning January 10, 2012. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens at Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Pastor Jon Bischof officiating.
In lieu of flowers Memorial can be made to the St. Matthews Lutheran Church of Corning, Arkansas.
