Richard Smith Jr

Richard Smith Jr., age 56, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday March 4, 2013 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Smith was born December 10, 1956, in Deols, France, to the late Richard Smith Sr. and Patsy(Jones) Smith. He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing and watching Cardinal baseball. He is survived by a daughter, Lynette Smith; grandchild, Presley Smith and one sister, JoAnn Johnson and husband, Joe of Wappapello, Mo. One brother, Harvey Smith, also preceded him in death. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday March 8, 2013 at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery, with Ron Fowler officiating.
