Robbie G. Dennis Sr

Robbie G. Dennis Sr. , 49, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Dennis was born April 8, 1961, at Poplar Bluff. He attended Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Dennis served in the U.S. Army and worked at 303 Liquor for 10 years. He also worked for Sperry Rail Service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his father, Bobby Gene Dennis of Bloomfield; his mother, Ann Osborn of Poplar Bluff; the mother of his children, Raetta Dennis; his children Robbie Gene Dennis Jr. and Amy Dennis, both of Poplar Bluff; his sister, Rhonda and husband John McGowen of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Richard Lee Dennis of Washington D.C.; a grandson Maison Dennis and granddaughter Olivia Ann Dennis; and a nephew, Matthew McGowen. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Monday followed by the funeral service at noon at the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Elden Wheelis officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens, Poplar Bluff, Mo.
