Robert Glenn Cosby

Robert Glenn Cosby, 78 of Poplar Bluff passed away February 20, 2011 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical center at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. His visitation will be Wednesday February 23, 2011 starting at 6:00 P.M. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri. Funeral will be Thursday morning February 24, 2011 starting at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel. burial will be in the Hvam Cemetery. Rev Keith Luke Officiating. On September 23, 1950 at Piggott, Arkansas he was married to Iva "Jean" Dollins. She survives. also surviving, One son, Steven Cosby of Poplar Bluff, Missouri one Daughter Glenna Ezell and husband Doug of Springfield, Missouri. Two sisters, Wilma Payne of Poplar Bluff, Ruth Ann Snider of Poplar Bluff. He was born April 6, 1932 at Neelylville, Missouri to Cecil Cosby and Ella Mae Stanley Cosby. He enjoyed hunting fishing and his Grandchildren. He was a member of the South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church and had served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. he was preceded in death by his parents as well as one sister Mary Nell and one brother, Carl Edward Cosby.
