Robert Earl Cox

Robert Earl Cox, 56, of Poplar Bluff passed away March 12, 2011 at his residence. Visitation will begin at 10AM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. and funeral services will be at 11AM Tuesday. Rev. Dallas Merriman will officiate and burial will be in City Cemetery. Mr. Cox was born January 17, 1955 in Bernie MO, to the late Willard Wilson Cox and Opal Richards Cox. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a veteran of the United States Army. On August 31, 1984 he married Janet Merriman in Butler County and she survives. Also surviving are; a daughter, Jessica Renea Barger of Springfield, MO ; his father-in-law; Jesse Merriman of Poplar Bluff, 5 sisters; Barb White of Bernie; Freda Long of Bernie; Sharon Gremore of Portageville; Alice Wheeler of Wheatland, MO and Mary Taylor of Goreville, IL and 2 brothers; Roger Cox of Dodge City Kansas and Mike Cox of Middlebrook, MO
