Robert Gene Ogden of Corning, passed away Saturday Feb. 18, 2012 at his residence in Corning at the age of 56. Mr . Ogden was born on March 13, 1955 in McComb, Illinois to the late Harold Ogden and Nancy Goins Ogden.
On May 26, 2009, he married Vicky Jo Lane at Pocahontas Arkansas, she survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Jack Leach of Rockford Ill., Bobby Ogden of Corning Ark., Manuel Ogden of Poplar Bluff Mo., Michael Hart of Drasco Ark., and Miranda Yancey of Rector Ark. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Edna Mayfield of Corning Ark., Mary Anderson of Poplar Bluff and Wanda Perren of Gallinton TN. 3 brothers Manuel Ogden of Corning Ark. Harold Lee Ogden of Rockford Ill. and Henry Ogden of Panama Beach Fl. 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.
In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors, as well as singing, going to church and his grandchildren. He was a member of the House of Mercy at Pocahontas Arkansas. Mr. Ogden leaves behind many family and friends and will be missed by all those who knew him.
Visitation for Mr. Ogden will start Wednesday February 22, 2012 in the Fowler-Sullivan memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Mo. starting at 5:00 p.m.. A graveside will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. starting at 1:30 pm at the Cantwell Cemetery in Corning, Arkansas. Pastor Pete Avery officiating.
