Roger Ezell

Roger Wayne "Wezell" Ezell, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday December 2, 2013 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Ezell was born July 16, 1952, at Roswell, New Mexico, to the late James and Elsie (Walker) Ezell. He had been a resident of Poplar Bluff for 47 years. He was a musician and carpet installer. He enjoyed working on old cars, woodworking, and loved playing his guitar. On December 15, 1975, he married Cheryl "Cherri" Ezell in Poplar Bluff. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Melody Ezell; two brothers, Jesse Ezell and Franklin Ezell; a sister-in-law, Betty Ezell; his grandchildren, Avery Ezell-Thomas and Samantha Jackson. Two brothers, Johnny Ezell and Jack Ezell also precede him in death. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating.
