Roger Geringer

Roger Geringer, 53, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015. Mr. Geringer was born April 20, 1962 in Perryville, Mo. to the late Joseph and Marie Geringer. He was a resident of Poplar Bluff for 24 years. He was a member of South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing with his pet dog, working in the yard and was an St. Louis Cardinal fan. On June 22, 1985 he married Kim Geringer in Poplar Bluff. She survives. He is also survived by his sons, Collin Geringer and Colby Geringer; two sisters, Jenny Hunt and husband, Harold of Festus, Mo., and MaryAnn Hoffman and husband, Rick of Cape Girardeau; as well as one brother, Robert Geringer and wife, Andrea of Perryville, Mo. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 12 (noon) in the funeral home chapel with, Rev. Michael Pope officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Butler Co. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church 817 Arthur Street Poplar Bluff, Mo. 63901.
