Ronald Reed

Ronald Norman Reed, 63, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Reed was born November 10, 1951 in Dexter, Mo. to the late Robert Edward Reed and Helen Marie Reed. He was a member of New Home General Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver for Pepsi Co. and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with family. On January 31, 1969, he married Bonnie (Heaton) Reed. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Ronda Yvonne Reed (Larry Brown), Ronald Darin Reed and wife, Johnna; two sisters, Patricia Moman and Brenda Blurton; one brother, Robert "Sonny" Reed; five grandchildren, Jessica Reed, Brittney Robinson, Robert Alan Reed, Ty Reed, and Jasa Reed; as well as two great-grandchildren, Kialee and Kenzi Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Norma "Sis" Reed and JoAnn Reed Whoberry. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m Monday, August 10, 2015, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by the funeral service at 12 (noon), in the chapel, with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will take place in the Memorial Garden Cemetery.
