Ronnie David Carl

Ronnie David Carl, 78, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on January 01, 2026, at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Ronnie was born on April 25, 1947, to Junnie and Elsa (Martin) Carl in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Ruth (Arbuckle) Carl, on December 23,1967, she survives.

Ronnie was a devoted Christian. He served the Lord for many years as deacon at Southside Assembly of God Church. He was an avid hunter. He also served in the United States Army from 1966-1968

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Ruth Carl, of 58 years, children, Sheila Cagle, Timothy David Carl, grandchildren, Shaleah (Jonathan) McNeil, Lacey Jacobsen, Aiden and Brendan Carl, and Landon Black, great grandchildren, Zander Cagle, Angeline Jacobsen, Christopher Jacobsen, Silas, Aleah, and Steven McNeil and brother, Robert Mitchell Carl.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Steve, Jerry and George Carl and sister, Louise Fluehearty.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 7, 2026, from 11am-12pm at Southside Assembly of God Church 404 West Midland St. Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.

Funeral services will begin at noon with Rev. Glenn Epps III and Rev. Jerry Lemons officiating. Burial will take place at 2PM at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
