Ronnie David Carl

Ronnie David Carl, 78, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on January 1st, 2026, at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Ronnie was born on April 25th, 1947, to Junie and Elsie (Martin) Carl in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Ruth (Arbuckle) Carl on December 23rd, 1967; she survives.

Ronnie was a devoted Christian. He served the Lord for many years as a deacon at Southside Assembly of God Church. He was also an avid hunter. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Carl. He is also survived by his children: Sheila Cagle and Timothy David Carl; grandchildren: Shaleah (Johnthan) McNeil, Lacey Cagle-Jacobsen, Landon Black, Aidan Carl, and Brendan Carl; great-grandchildren: Aleah McNeil, Zander Cagle, Silas McNeil, Angeline Jacobsen, Christopher Jacobsen, and Steven McNeil; and his brother: Robert Mitchell Carl.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: George Carl, baby Marion Carl, Louise Fluhardy, Steve Carl, Jerry Carl, and special Brother-in-law Francis Lyons.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, from 11am-12pm at Southside Assembly of God Church: 404 W Midland St Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.

Funeral services will begin at 12pm with Rev. Glenn Epps III and Rev. Jerry Lemons officiating. Burial will take place at 2pm at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
