Rosebud Peters

Rosebud Marie Peters, 91, of Oxly, Mo. passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff. She was born June 27, 1925, in Hammond, In., to the late Alfred Kayes and Marie (Hilfaker) Kayes. Rosebud was a member of United Methodist Church in Doniphan. She enjoyed writing poetry and she loved everyone. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William J. Uher and later by her second husband, Chester Peters. Survivors include one daughter, Denise Marie Heinrich and three sons, William Charles Uher, David Mark Uher, and Neil Frederick Uher; as well as six grandchildren, Julie Chandler, Matthew Cooke, Kelly Wilkinson, Neil Uher II, Brian Uher-Koch and Hannah Uher-Koch. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Doniphan, with the Rev. Kent Wilfong officiating.
