Rosie Buhler

Rosie May Buhler, age 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Mrs. Buhler was born May 18, 1929, in Portageville, Mo. ,to the late William and Ethel (Kirk) Beard. She worked as a nurses aid and enjoyed taking care of all her kids and grandkids, and singing gospel music on the front porch. She was married to Delbert Buhler. He preceded her in death June 1993. Survivors include her children William Buhler, Richard Buhler and Brenda Hastings; two sisters, Ruth Francisco and Doris Buhler; one brother, Lloyd Beard; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. One son, Robert Dale Buhler, also precede her in death. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday July 19, 2013, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo., with Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating. Burial will be in the Black Creek Cemetery.
