Ruby Blankenship

Ruby Blankenship, 90, of Poplar Bluff passed away June 11, 2017 at The Cedar Gate Nursing Home. Mrs. Blankenship was born May 30, 1927 in Rombaur, MO, to the late Rufus and Julia Badgett. She was a homemaker. On January 13, 1959 she was married to A C Blankenship. He preceded her in death June 15, 1979. Mrs. Blankenship is survived by children: Gary Wayne Merriman and friend Meldrid Richardson, Ilene Ward, Freida McKlintic; Sisters: Pearl Gulledge, Linda Clark, Arlene Turner and Darlene Paul; brothers: Orville Badgett; grandchildren: Steve Frey, Nick McKlintic, Kathy Frey, Gary Merriman Jr.; great-grandchildren: Tyler McKlintic, Addison Lightner, Brianna Merriman and Tyson Frey. Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by parents, husband, two sons-in-laws: Larry Ward and Larry McKlintic Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be 11am Thursday, June 15, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Ron Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Ash Hill Cemetery.
