Ruby Lee Jackson

Ruby Lee Jackson, 91, of Poplar Bluff, MO went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Ruby was born on February 2, 1935, in Roundaway, Mississippi. She married Andrew Jackson and they celebrated 42 years of married before he preceded her in death.

Ruby was a prayer warrior. She enjoyed preaching, singing, playing guitar, cooking, fishing, gardening and decorating.

Ruby is survived by children, Pearlie Bell and husband James, Shirley Jackson, Lee Andrew Jackson and wife Glenda, Chocolate Johnson and husband Johnny, Juanita Mathews, Leona Borders and husband Keith, Georgia Webb and husband Bishop Ronnie, 21 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, siblings; Jewerdean Liner and husband Joseph, Dorothy Jones and husband George, Samuel Harris, Glory Harris, Annie Harris.

Ruby was preceded in death by Husband, Andrew Jackson; her parents, a daughter; Lilly Harris, grandchildren; Ronnie Webb Jr, Crystal Webb, James Bell Jr., Bianca Drummond, and Dimiterus Bell; siblings, Woodrow Harris, Eddie Harris Jr., Eddie Vernon Harris, Verlie Cooper, Bessie Harris, Sarah Graham, Christine Palmer and Isaac Harris,

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church 1875 Speedway Dr. Poplar Bluff, MO

Home going services will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
