Rudy Wilson Chatman Sr

Rudy Wilson Chatman Sr. of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Mo. Mr. Chatman was born October 14, 1925 at Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was a retired insurance salesman and enjoyed coon hunting. He was a charter member of the Eagles and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are his son, Rudy Wilson Chatman Jr. and daughter-in-law, Brenda Chatman of Dexter, his stepdaughter, Gloria Barron and her children, Randal and Rhonda of Poplar Bluff; his grandchildren, Shannon Chatman and Larissa Chatman, both of Dexter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luida Chatman and Delta Mai (Wilson) Chatman. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. at Bays Springs Cemetery with Rudy Wilson Chatman Jr. officiating. Rudy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
