Russell Dicken

Russell Dale Dicken, 63, of Jacksonville, NC passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2022, after a brief illness.

Russell was born on December 15, 1958, to Bob and Jean Dicken in Poplar Bluff, MO. After graduating from Poplar Bluff High School, Russ spent 4 years serving with the US Army. He has been a Swing boat Captain for Marquette Transportation since 1997.

Russell loved spending time fishing, playing pool, floating, going to the beach and driving his Corvette. Russ was well known for his daring and love of adventure. His greatest joys were helping others and spending time with his many friends and family.

Russell was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Dicken, father Bob Dicken, grandson Gunnar Dicken and 1st wife Kathryn Toellner.

Russ is survived by Mother Jean Dicken, daughter Tara Dicken, sons Jason Stacy (Diana), Bobby Dicken, Zach Dicken (Laura), grandsons Luca and Aarik Stacy, granddaughters Lara, Sora, and Ariel Dicken, brothers Roy Dicken (Lisa), Rich Dicken (Melanie), sister Jeana Cox (John), nephews Ryan Dicken, Mitchell Cox, Hunter Dicken, Cole Dicken, nieces Kenzie Dicken, Maddie Dicken and many close friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the Fowler Sullivan Funeral in Poplar Bluff. Visitation will be at 1PM followed by the service at 2PM   Burial will be in the Dicken Cemetery.
