Ruth (Sluss) Eastwood

Ruth Eastwood, 76, of Williamsville, MO passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with her husband, Bob, by her side.

Ruth was born on October 8, 1947, to David and Lilly (Hamilton) Sluss in Pikeville, Kentucky. She married Robert Eastwood on April 23, 1994.

Ruth loved the Lord and was a member of The Bluff Church. She enjoyed Bingo, crafts, and playing cards with "the girls".

Ruth is survived by spouse, Robert (Bob) Eastwood, Sr., son, Billy Lawrence and his wife, Becky, grandson Zachery and granddaughter Abigail, son, Jimmy Lawrence, bonus son, Terry Eastwood Johnson and his wife Andrea, granddaughter Taylor and grandson Cameron, bonus son, Robert Eastwood, Jr., granddaughters Stacey and Becky, bonus daughter, Pam Tyler, grandson Troy and granddaughter Tara, granddaughters Taylor and Cheyenne, grandson Darryl and granddaughter Lindsay, sister, Pauline Compton, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Edna and Betty, brother Dave, her daughter, Debbie Brown, and son, Darryl Lawrence.

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024, from 11am-12pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 701 Vine St. in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Funeral services will follow at 12PM in the funeral home chapel with Mason Powell officiating. Burial will take place at City Cemetery.
