Ruth Pierce

Ruth Pierce, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. , died Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Pierce was born October 4, 1925, in Butler County, Mo. She worked as a nurse at Doctors Hospital in Poplar Bluff. Her hobbies were sewing, making dolls and quilts. She was married to Donald Pierce in Butler County. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three children, Bud Copeland, Ray Copeland and Charles Copeland, all of New Mexico; one sister Myrtle Mitchell of Dexter, Mo. No services are planned. Fowler- Sullivan Funeral Home of Poplar Bluff in charge of arrangements.
