Ruth Ann Pippin 73, of Naylor, Mo., passed away on July 13, 2017 at the home of her sister and brother-in-law Pam and Weldon Cox of Oxly, Missouri.
Mrs. Pippin was born on Nov. 13, 1943 in St. Louis, Mo. She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, sewing, housework, gardening, working on the farm. She was of the Missionary Baptist faith.
On Nov. 9, 1962, she married Kelly Pippin in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He survives.
She is survived by her mother; Ruth Estella Bruner Ferguson, one daughter, Sherry Ann Barker & husband Bruce of Licking, Mo.; 4 sisters, Norma Jean Horrocks of Naylor, Mo., Pamela Sue Cox of Oxly, Mo., Karen Patton of Wichita, KS., Lisa Frish of Rolla, Mo.; 1 brother, David Ferguson of Woodbine, Maryland; 4 grandchildren, Hannah Rose, Emily Grace Ann, Caleb Matthew, and Zachary Levi; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death is her father, Norman Sidney Ferguson.
Visitation will begin on July 16, 2017 starting at 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. Funeral starting at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, with Elder Larry Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery following services.
