Ruther M. (Hollis) Anderson

Ruther M Anderson, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 21, 2024 at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Ruther was born on March 26, 1949 to Rise and Mary Hollis in Portageville, Missouri. Ruther was a deaconess at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  She had forty-eight years experience in the banking business. Ruther is survived by spouse, Charles Anderson, children, Barbara Lewis, Charlene Moss and husband Derrick, Allan Anderson, Sarah Booker and husband Tarrell, Penny Sanders and husband Isaac, Katina Jones and husband Anthony, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren brothers, Dennis Hollis and wife Emma and Andrew Hollis. Ruther was preceded in death by her son Quinton Miller and her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 10am-11 am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff, Funeral services will begin at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Robinson   officiating. Burial will take place at City Cemetery.
