Samuel Hunter Johnson, 1, of Poplar Bluff, MO entered his Eternal rest into the arms of Jesus April 18, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Samuel was born on June 21, 2017 to Roy and Kendra Johnson in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Samuel loved ducks, being a big brother, sword fighting, jedi training, dinosaurs, Star Wars, the movie Boss Baby, his favorite song was Baby Shark, favorite foods were apples and cheese. Samuel brought everyone close together and all his church family were like blood family to him. He had them all spoiling him. Everyone seemed to be grandparents to him. Samuel is survived by mom, Kendra Johnson, dad, Roy Johnson Jr. baby brother, Oliver Johnson, Paw Paw, Winfield Bolin and Maw Maw Lisa Bolin, Poppa Tony and Gramma Mindy Thurkill, grandparents Roy and Tammy Johnson; grandparents, Scott and Stephanie Townsend; Great-grandparents, Randy and Robin Robinson; Great paw paw, Junior Murray; Great- great-grandparents, Virgil and Vicki Thurkill; Aunt and Uncle, Jasmine and Jacob Kidd; uncle, Alex Townsend ; aunt, Allison Thurkill ; uncle, Sawyer Thurkill "Buddy"; aunt, Becca Bolin; Auntie, Mary Beth Bolin. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22nd, 2019 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Southside Assembly of God 404 West Midland St. Poplar Bluff, MO Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM Southside with Pastor Jerry Lemons officiating.
