Sandra Ann Bishop

Sandra Ann Bishop, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014, in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Bishop was born April 24, 1945 in Piggott, Arkansas. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to church and being with her family. She was a member of the Abundant Life Christian Center in Poplar Bluff. She was also a veteran having served in the United States Army. On June 28, 1993 she married Horace Douglas Bishop Jr. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2008. Also preceding her in death was a son, Anthony Bishop, as well as her parents, Robert Doyle Dover and Verna Ottie (Brady) Smith. Survivors include her children, Crystal Wood, Shane Bishop, Christopher Bishop, Michelle Campbell, and Mary Bishop; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
