Sandra "Sandy" Garrett Arrington

Sandra "Sandy" Garrett Arrington, 66 of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away at her residence August 9, 2011. She was born February 3, 1945 to the late Cleo and Ruby "Gamblin" Garrett at Naylor, Missouri. On September 3, 1977 at Naylor, Missouri Sandy was married to Jim Arrington. He survives. Also surviving; one son, Josh Arrington of Neelyville, Missouri; two Daughters, Shannon Davis and husband Steve, of Neelyville, Missouri and Holly Dobbins and husband Justin, also of Neelyville, Missouri. She is also survived by three brothers, Jerry Garrett of Fairdealing, Missouri, Bob Garrett of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Branson Garrett of Naylor, Missouri. Grandchildren Zane, MaKenzi and Brock Davis, Delayni, Reese, Maddux Dobbins. Sandy was a member of the Palace of Praise Church of Poplar Bluff. She had served on the Naylor/ Neelyville Ambulance Board as secretary and president of the Eaton Cemetery. She also served as a nurse at Hillview School, as well as Sunday school teacher and helped in the nursery at the Palace of Praise Church. She enjoyed helping in the Neelyville Community, She retired from nursing to take care of her children and grandchildren, whom she enjoyed. Visitation for Mrs. Arrington will be August 11, 2011 at the Palace of Praise Church in Poplar Bluff from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.. Services will be Friday August 12, 2011 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Bishop Kent Miller will be officiating with burial in the Eaton Cemetery at Naylor, Missouri following services. Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville in Charge of arrangements.
