Sarah Ellington

Sarah Ellington, 81, of Poplar Bluff passed away at her home on December 28,2017. She was born Nov. 1, 1936 in St. Joseph, MO. She enjoyed playing bingo, being with family, and watching t.v. She was married to Chester Ellington in St. Joseph, MO. He preceded her in death Feb. 1982. Sarah is survived by her children; Ralph White, John Ellington, James Ellington (Sharon), Deborah Ellington and Steve Cook; brothers; Ricky, Jackie and Eddie White, 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, father William White, mother; Mary White (Despain), sisters; Mary Mignery and Frances Despain, brothers; Harold, Billy, Bobby, Jimmy, Albert, Johnny and Gary White. There will be a visitation at 12pm Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1pm in the chapel with Donna Lang officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
