Shairon Ward

Shairon J. Ward, 75, of Poplar Bluff passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Ms. Ward was born December 15, 1936 in Deering, Mo. to the late Archie Alfred Gadberry and Aretha Isabelle (McNinch) Gadberry. She was a member of the Oak Grove New Beginning Church in Poplar Bluff. She had been a team driver with her husband in the trucking industry. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing karaoke at the Eagles and American Legion and eating fish. On January 20, 1966 she married Marvin A. Ward. He preceded her in death January 12, 2009. She is survived by 3 sisters; Thelma Smith, Barbara Grubb, and Sue Marchbank and 2 brothers; Bill Gadberry and Mike Gadberry and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9-11 Monday, July 30, 2012 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral service will begin at 11AMwith Pastor Faughn, from Twin Oaks Southern Baptist Church officiating. A 1PM burial at MO State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO
