Shirley Juanita Magill

Shirley Juanita Magill, 90, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 10, 2026, at St. Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Shirley was born on August 26, 1936 to James and Ora (Meloy) Magill in Chaonia, Missouri.

Shirley enjoyed vegetable gardening. She would raise enough to share with her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the middle of any family activities or spirited conversation. She was a loyal friend and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her life was lived working and doing for others.

Shirley is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; Opal (Fritz) Sanderbrink, Lona (J.T.) Elrod, Verna (Belva) Garrett, Robert (Virginia) Magill, Lillian Magill, Cecil (Nettie) Magill, and twin Sharron (Harold) Mayberry.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19,2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Garrett officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Williamsville, MO
