Shirley Kay Swafford, "Squirrely", 60, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016.
She was born May 4, 1955 in Wood River, Ill. A believer in God, she was a homemaker and "the boss". She enjoyed yard sales, tanning, listening to the Beatles, and being with family.
On July 1, 1982 she married David Swafford, in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Amanda (Wayne) Eversole, Bobby Lee Swafford (Valerie Thompson), and Lisa Marie Swafford; nine grandchildren, Kaylee Forsythe, Gavin Forsythe, Daisha Gutierrez, Grace Ann Hager, Desirae Swafford, Shirley Kay Swafford, Cody Pruett, Joseph Eversole, and Emily Eversole, and a special lady who she considered to be an aunt, Kathleen Kinder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Hilda (Figgy) Bruce; her favorite uncle, Charles E. Bruce and her aunt, Jessie Bruce.
