Silva Jean Silkwood

Silva Jean Silkwood,68, San Diego, California, passed away in the Sharp Grossmont Hospital June 11, 1013. She was born February 24, 1945 in Butler County, Missouri to the late Carl and Omah Silkwood. She is survived by her children,Derek Alan Hacke and wife Kay and Cheryl Barker and husband Gene Barker III. Her Sisters, Bernice Silman, Elda Silkwood, Carolyn Evola, brothers, Clyde Silkwood, Jerry Silkwood, and Charles Ray Silkwood. Her grandchildren surviving are Ethan Barker, Hayden Barker, Kian Reese Barker and Alex Hacke, Kiera Hacke. Many Nieces, Nephews and cousins also survive, She was preceded in death by one sister, Carlene Gowen and one brother, Doyle Silkwood as well as one granddaughter, Brianna Hacke. Silvia enjoyed spending time with her sisters and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, and listening to music. Visitation will be June 29, 2013 starting after 6:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial chapel with the funeral on June 30, 2013 starting at 2:00 p.m.. Burial will be in the Coon Island Cemetery.
