Thomas James Maxwell Sr., 77, of Neelyville, Mo., passed away on Jan. 6, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Maxwell was born on July 7, 1939 in Braggadocio, Mo. He worked as a Header operator and enjoyed gardening, NASCAR, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, fishing, hunting and his grandchildren.
On Jan. 16, 1960 he married Rosa Mae Maxwell in Rockford, IL. She survives.
Also surviving is his children, Carla (Eleazar) Escamilla, Thomas Jr. (Laura) Maxwell, Sarah(Stuart) Whitney, Sarah Cecil; and 13 grandchildren, Hotavio (Janice), Manual, Raquel, Olivia, Keengan (Emily), Dolan (Ally), Shae, Nevin, Ryan, Renda, Gena, Adam and Kayla; as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Florence Maxwell; sisters, Madaline Maxwell James, Lavina Russell, Becky Maxwell Hillard, Betty Maxwell Weldon, Luan Maxwell Stanford, Pauline Maxwell Schrimsler, Linda Maxwell Puddicombe, Mae Ruth Maxwell; as well as his brother, Billy Maxwell.

Visitation will take place on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 from 5-8p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. A Graveside service will follow on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Magness Cemetery in Wilburn Ar.
